Country Singer Brantley Gilbert’s Wife Amber Gives Birth to Baby on Tour Bus Mid-Show

Brantley Gilbert’s newborn son Abram literally joined him on the road.
The “Son of the Dirty” South singer shared that his wife Amber Cochran Gilbert welcomed their third child during his concert in Tupelo, Mississippi on Oct. 11.
“Shortly after Brantley’s set starts, he gets pulled away for an emergency backstage,” the words in a video shared to Instagram Oct. 12 read as Brantley was seen rushing off the stage. The video then cut to Brantley on his tour bus, standing over his wife holding their baby boy while talking to his mom on the phone.
The video also included scenes of Brantley and his wife—who are also parents to Barrett, 6 and Braylen, 5 —holding their baby shortly after his arrival. While still on the phone with his mother, Brantley gushes over his wife saying, “She’s a freaking savage.”
Brantley then returns to the stage and tells the crowd, “We got a baby.”
In addition to the video, the country star shared more details about his baby’s surprise arrival, comma writing, “So last night might have been the craziest night of my life. Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget.”
He added, “Thank you to our road family for rallying around us, Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this little dude into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi for showing us mad love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you.”
Amber and Brantley revealed their baby boy’s name in another joint post.
“We will never forget the way you got here and we can’t wait to see what you do here,” the pair wrote on Oct. 12. “Abram Howell Gilbert 10.11.24.”
Brantley and Amber, who have been married since 2015, comma announced they were expecting their third child in May. The couple shared the news on Mother’s Day with a beachside photoshoot featuring their two oldest kids writing, “How’s this for a Mother’s Day?”
In 2015, ahead of tying the knot with Amber, Brantley gushed to E! News about marrying the one he says almost got away, "She's been in my soul since I met her."
